It's The Easter Eggs!
Much to the dismay of some of our children, we did not color Easter eggs this year. But, since we do have a granddaughter in the house, her parents did... well, they filled plastic eggs with stuff. Man, there is something wrong with this world when you don't even color eggs anymore! Lazy? perhaps. Easter means more than eggs? let's hope. Although, I remember in my younger years (not so long ago) when we lived for "the hunt". My brothers and I would color eggs with Mom, then we'd hide them outside for each other and have a wonderful time finding those delightful treats. We'd hide and seek those colorful orbs over and over until they were cracked, smashed, and broken. Then we'd just eat them or make deviled eggs out of them- mmmmmm, deviled eggs. Now, it's just jelly beans or chocolate eggs... and they don't mix too well with mayo and mustard.
We did capture a few pix of Isla enjoying "the hunt". Here are a few.
"Egg, egg, egg.... oh, a bug."
