P.A.R.T. Why? Because we gotta!

Mom and Dad Zaugg- check out this pic. I don't think I've ever seen them wearing sunglasses... lookin' so good! So, they are celebrating their 70 years together at our reunion this year. We had a celebration where neighbors, friends (those that are still around) and family (many we hadn't seen for many, many years) came to enjoy with us. Below are a few of the pics from the reunion.

I am not texting at the dinner table!

4th of July

We had pretty darn good 4th of July weekend... we didn't do much!!! Emily B. from Mass was here, Rory and Rebecca came up, and of course we had Emery. We were going to go see the fireworks in Clearfield that evening, but when it was time to go, we pooped out and decided just to go out back on the haystack and watch them from here- much more cozy that way anyway. Emily was to scared to climb up on the stack, so she and Sydney stayed down below. Anyway, as we were waiting for Clearfield's show to start, lo and below- there came a light from the west... actually West Point. I didn't know West Point did the FW show. It was quite good, much closer and we could even hear the boomage.

As I mentioned above, we had Emery for the weekend- oh my goodness, she is so fun. Her dad bought her a little wading pool. She had so much fun going in and out, splishing and splashing, and we had so much fun watching her. Below are a few pics- enjoy.... we did.

What a cutie! She's got us wrapped around her finger- can you blame us? Just look at that face!

Born to be wild....

Gma and Gpa Z went on a small buying spree and bought Emery a stroller and a trike. She loves to go in the stroller and see the horses (hussus). Last Sunday morning, we went and saw the cows (cows)- she had a great time. Here we see her enjoying the trike. It's a little big right now, but hopefully by the end of the summer she might be able to peddle- we'll see.

Father's Day

Rhubarb pie- it doesn't get any better than this, and Brenda makes a wicked awesome pie. Just dress it out with some vanilla ice cream (it's the finest of the flavors) and you're all set... at least I was on this Father's Day.
